Home is Your Place

Home is your place; your place to make memories, your place to spend time with family and your place to have fun. These are the three reasons that are going to help explain why home is your place. Home is your place to make memories, memories you'll never forget. A fun memory I’ll never forget is riding the Prairie Dog Central on my first ever train ride. Another memory I have is going to my uncle’s cabin at Lake of the Woods with my family on my mom’s side. Not all memories can be sunshine and rainbows. The next memory I have is a very important to me. On March 19, 2023, my uncle passed away to cancer. He had been living with us since September of 2020. He will always be in my heart. Another reason home is important to me is it’s your place to spend time with family, family you’ll always have in your heart. One thing I like to do with my family is play board games like Sequence and Ticket to Ride. Something else my family and I like to do is enjoy the occasional steak night. Sometimes we might even go to The Keg Steakhouse. We have gone on many trips as a family. Almost every year we’ve gone on an all-inclusive vacation. This year we went back to Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. A final reason I believe home is your place to have fun and be yourself. Something I like to do for fun is play with my model trains. I’ve always loved trains ever since I was pretty young and having two scales of model trains is pretty cool for me. The next thing I like to do for fun is play video games. A few video games I like to play are Minecraft and Roblox. These are some of the video games I like to play with friends and play by myself. A final thing I like to do for fun is build Lego. I’ve built a few cool things like a Boeing 737-800 plane and the Mona Lisa. In conclusion, home means your place to make memories, your place to spend time with family, your place to have fun, your place to do whatever you want, but just remember your home is your place.
