Home is safe

Home is the best, most wonderful thing I could ask for. Home is a safe place to talk about school days, bad days and good days. I can crack some jokes and laugh freely. I’m always getting supported day by day. My family always helps me with my dreams and goals. I come home from school and hear calming music or shows. I always get greeted by my parents with love. I hear my dog barking and I see her wagging her tail happily. I can express my feelings and not get judged. I can smell and taste the nice food and delicious desserts at supper. I see a beautiful sight, a pink sunset. At bed I get in my pile of stuffies and feel comfort and warmth. I get kissed goodnight and go to bed. In the morning I do crafts and art. Then we watch old movies that my mom used to watch and take a nap on the couch with 3 fluffy blankets covering me. A home isn’t just a building, it's full of love, parents, siblings, emotions, and comfort. I can always come home to parents who love me the most in the world.
