My Meaning of Home
By Kaliyah Armstrong
What is home? A home does not always have to have four walls; it can have none. Home can be inside or outside big or small but should always be filled with love. They are filled with emotions- love, guilt, sadness, and even more. My home does have four walls, but I have two both filled with love, both have three hearts, pets and more. I have many homes whether it is at gymnastics and flipping or going on a bike ride with my family and friends or even at home playing games and having family dinners. Home means me coming home to a home cooked meal, laughing, and watching tv in the living room eating chips and drinking pop. When I picture home, I think of routines, family traditions, going to bed, and getting a hug and a kiss from my parents so I can go to bed. Home to me is watching my family and I grow. This is what home means to me. I am incredibly grateful for all the memories I have made and that I have parents that care for me and are always there for me. I am also grateful that I always have food on my plate. This is what my home looks like.
