A Place You Can Call Home

Home is more than a house or a place to stay; It is where love grows and never fades away. A house can be massive, medium, or small, But without warmth and comfort, it is nothing at all. A home doesn’t measure its worth by size, But by the care and compassion in people’s lives. Home is a place that doesn’t judge how you feel, But makes every moment feel loved and real. Home makes you believe your best is just right; It turns your deepest doubts into delight. A home corrects when you go wrong, A firm foundation that builds you up strong. When you have a plan or a vision, A home gives guidance to your mission. A warm place of comfort when you’re scared, Where memories and traditions are made and shared. Everyone deserves a gentle hand to hold, And love that guides as you grow old. Though your home is unique and different from mine, They are both places where souls shine. From the tropical lush of Nigeria’s air, To Saudi Arabia’s desert winds, fierce and fair, Now in the winter snow on the Canadian streets, Still, home is where my family meets. United by love, not just by blood, Where tenderness freely flows like a flood. A home can be wherever you want it to be, As long as you are understood, happy, and free. No longer a stranger, no longer alone, That is a place you can call home.
