The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home, you want to know what it means to me? It means love, hope, peace, and joy, and family. Home is where to grow, home isn’t a place, home is the feeling of comfort, and love. In my home my family are together, we watch shows, we hang out, the smell of warm comfort food fills the place. Home is the sound of laughter, Home is ups and downs. Home is prayer. Home is socializing with new and old. Home is family time. At home you don’t feel scared, at home your relatives come to see you. At home I took my first steps, said my first words, me and my brother have fun, and play together, and one day we will leave our home to start a new story, the same laughs, the same bedtime stories, the same feeling of comfort, and the same I love you. Jesus brought his children to his home, that is what we should do. At home my parents feed me, care for me. There are people out there who don’t have a home, who don’t have people to share the feeling, and that’s not fair, people deserve a home, not just for shelter( which is important). But for peace and comfort. A house is a building ( bricks, stone, roofs, walls.) But a home is a feeling. Some people can’t have that and I hope the world can become a better place where all people can experience that. Home is where the heart is and my heart is at home.
