A Place I Will Call Home

As I was walking home from school, I was thinking in my head, “What does home really mean?” Home is where there is joy, kindness, happiness, caring, and safety. In my kitchen is where we cook meals as a family. We play games, we host dinners, we laugh, we smile, we cry, we eat, we host, and we make memories. In my living room, we sit with family. We watch TV, we deal with things if we had a bad day, we plan, we play games, we cry, we talk, we laugh, we talk, and we relax. In my room, I get ready for the day. I cry, I sleep, I hang out, and I have friends over. And that is what I think home means to me.
