Meaning of Home

Home is a place that is yours, not everyone else's. Your home can be a grandparents' home or your friend's home. A home is a place where you feel safe and comforting - you should not feel empty sad lonely. Home should feel welcoming, supportive, kind, and loving. No one should be left out, mad, sad, not heard, or hurt. Now you can do little things like watching a movie, having a camp fire, supporting me, or just being there. And non-blood related people who also love and care about you. So, I have learned that small things count like cheering me on, holding me when I cry. You know what? I have a good home and some kids don’t get that and I don’t think that's right and we should all feel safe and loved and not scary and I think we sound change that for everyone.
