Home in five senses

Home is where you feel safe and comfortable with the people you love. When l am at home l hear the laughter of my siblings and the bark of my loud dog . I can smell fresh cookies being baked from the oven and the pink and white flowers hanging overhead from my ceiling. I touch the warm hot coco cup in the winter and count on my mommy putting extra chocolate chips! I can see my family growing stronger together every day and the happy smiles on everyone's faces. A home requires proper care and people who are willing to put in the hard work. Home is a place the people come together and cherish proper memories. I use my home to celebrate birthdays, thanksgiving and many more activities! Sometimes people don't have enough money to buy a house or don't have the money to buy other things like groceries plus a house. That's why we have Habitat for Humanity. So that people can afford a home that they can be proud of. All in all, this is the meaning of my home.
