What home means to me
Home is not special because the beds are on the floor. It's about the people that are there with you.
When you leave your old house it can make you feel sad leaving the place you have known as home but you will not forget the memories that stick with you when you get to your new house. You will realize in a week it's not about the house . I walk into my brother's room and they're still arguing. In the living room my little brother Cooper is stimming and babbling watching Ms. Rachel. My step dad’s cooking. My room is the same as usual .
Home is not about the house itself or the address, it is about the people that love you and support you. It's about the people that will love you no matter what! It's family!! Though my house is crazy, deep down in our hearts we love each other no matter what! Every fight, every game and arguing comes from love, kind of! That's why our parents work .
So they can buy us amazing things and tomorrow or in a week or a year I will always love my brothers even if they are mean at the end of the day they are my brothers.
They are my home. I love them so much! Home is like a hug in a snow storm that comforts you. They are the light in the ocean that guides me home. The sound of laughter from my family makes me feel welcome! I am grateful I have a place to call home . A place that protects me in the darkest times, that holds me close when I'm scared. Someone I can call that accepts me for who I am.
Thank you to the school.
