Home to me

Home is the place where I belong. It always feels right, it never feels wrong. My Mom, my Dad, my Dog Honey and I, it’s priceless to me, more than money could ever buy. My home is in Paradise Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s one of the places that I absolutely adore. On cold winter days, I snuggle in my bed. On nice winter days, I go sledding instead. On summer days I have fun in all sorts of ways. We sit by the fire, talk about our day, Take out the telescope to see all the stars in the milky way. My friends come jump on my trampoline until the sun sets, It makes me so happy, it’s the best that it gets I’m very lucky to have a second home around the bay. It was my pops home and has been in our family for almost a century. It’s filled with so much love, joy and so many memories. My Pop’s shop across the street has been closed for many years, But we keep it alive by having fun every time we go there. We play darts and cards and we talk and laugh. Behind the shop we fish on the wharf and search the beach for sea glass. My Uncle and I go on the quad in the woods, we pick berries, search for animal tracks and if we’re lucky we might see a moose. My homes make up who I am today. They mould me and shape me in many different ways. The more I think about it the more that it seems that the homes I’ve talked about are the homes of my dreams!
