What home means to me
To me, home means having a house that I can feel safe in. In my home I feel that I am safe and loved. In my home I feel grateful for the food that my parents bring home.
When I am at home, I feel warm and cozy because I have blankets to make me feel warm. In my home I feel dry because there is a roof over my head. I know that others may not be as fortunate as I am, which is why I feel grateful that I have a home. At home, I feel happy because I have really good memories at home.
I do not whatsoever think that homelessness is fun, and the people that are experiencing it probably feel sad that they don’t have a warm place in winter, or air conditioning in the summer. I think that home is a VERY important part of life. I feel sorry for the people that don’t have a home, and I think that life probably feels really sad and lonely without a home.
That is why I feel that home is a very important part of life, and that is also why I am grateful and lucky to have a home, unlike some others.
