How A House Becomes A Home

Houses and homes can look the same though it won't feel the same. Because what's on the inside makes it a home. The rooms that are filled with memory, the safety of a warm home. The feeling that when you get home you will be able to express yourself. Rooms are what turn a house into a home. The memory of family game night, Nerf gun battles. The love that is shared every day, that is carried with us wherever we go. But we can’t forget the arguments that shape us into new people. Safety, the home that will protect every step you take. The love that generates a forcefield to shield us against negative energy. Home is my superhero to defend us from bad energy, and save us from bad weather. Family is what makes a house feel like a home. Playing Fortnite and laughing so hard you start crying. Sharing the food you love, like jerk chicken with family, and talking about your day where you feel safe. Home, any place can be a home, whether it is a far away palace where you create memories or a childhood tree house. Though it's what’s on the inside that matters, love, family and safety that makes the difference. From a house to a home.
