I Love Home

Oh hello there! I am Ameerah, and this is about what my home feels like. I hope you enjoy it. Some people may think home is just a place to eat, sleep, and relax, but to me it is much more than that. Home is a safe place, a place where you are never scared. It is like a happy place where you always feel comfortable and loved. Close your eyes and imagine you are in a cozy, warm cabin with a cup of hot chocolate, sitting on a soft, fluffy couch. Doesn’t that sound cozy? If you think it does, that is exactly what my house feels like, warm, safe, and peaceful. My home is not a quiet home. It is actually quite loud and very busy, and when I say busy, I really mean it! I have a mom, dad, grandma, and a little sister who is in her “terrible twos.” Sometimes she cries over the smallest things, like the wrong color cup, but she also makes us laugh every single day. Even when she is being a little dramatic, I still love her so much. My family fills the house with laughter and love, and they make me feel so special. At home, I help out in small ways. I clean up, play with the baby, and sometimes make breakfast with my mom. It doesn’t feel like hard work, it feels nice to help and spend time together. We laugh, talk, and have fun while doing it.
