The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home Home means a place where I can share and create memories with my family. A place where love, laughter and joy should be shared. I walk in the door after a long tiring day. I come home to smell my mom or my dad cooking. It smells like I just walked into a restaurant that is what makes my whole day. I hear my parents talking and my brothers maybe fighting, maybe getting along either way, that's when you know you are really home. When the day ends and I sit down I see my food maybe or even not but that's ok. When I do get to sit down with my family we talk about what our day was which is usually the same school then sports either way that is when I start to smell the food and the others food I noticed that this is what home is to me that just coming home to everybody and seeing the smiles on their faces makes coming home my favourite part of the day that I look forward to everyday. When we have a break and we are home I smell the people I love and spend so much time with. When I'm in the house I stop to think to myself this is what home is and that I should think that I'm really lucky to feel that everyday. I wake up and usually feel the drool or the softness of my favourite stuffed animal and I feel the warmth of her against my body. That is the meaning of home to me.
