Home Is

Home is a place where you can go, it isn't a building, it's a memory that can never be forgotten. Home is a safe and calm place for all that need it. It's not a place with four walls and a roof, it's a place full of loved ones and more. It's the smell of a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies in the oven when I am having a rough time. We play games by the cozy warm fireplace like a warm blanket in the cold winter breeze . We laugh and talk for hours and when it’s time for dinner we would all go have a delicious meal together as a family. Those you can never forget because it could be your last dinner as a family. It’s the feeling of a cup of hot chocolate in a cold winter wonderland. Home is not just a house it's a feeling, home is a big hug around me, home is where my heart is, home is a welcoming place to be for all to come. It's the feeling that counts, not the look of a room or the furniture in it. I am stronger than I seem but that won't stop me from being myself forever. And this is what home means to me.
