Meaning of Home

A home can have special memories and sentimental value for some people. For my family, we have a tradition of using one of our walls to measure our heights on holidays and birthdays and we get to watch our growth over time. We celebrate holidays and birthdays in my home with family and friends. It’s nice when a home can have a backyard so you can have things like a trampoline, bouncy castle, and an inflatable pool, and practice playing sports like football. A yard is also good to have if you are going to have pets as part of your home so they have somewhere to play, too. I love my homes because I have my family with me and my home is a safe place for all of us. My parents are not together anymore so I have two homes. I love both of my homes the same. I go to my dad’s every second weekend and I love that house! My home means the world to me because not everyone has a place to call home or somewhere to sleep.
