How family means to me

My family means a lot to me. When I walk into my dads house I see a playful kitty named Tobie, a mean kitty named Jack and a cozy couch. Home sounds like a lot of things. Most of the time it sounds like a kettle boiling when you are making hot chocolate. Sometimes it sounds like a musical movie playing on family movie night. Home smells like chocolate when my dad hands out kinder minis to me and my siblings. A lot of the time it also smells like delicious gravy on poutine when Crystal or dad are making it. Home tastes like fruit loops when my dad buys them for a treat. It also tastes like freezies in the summer when we come back from scooter rides. Home feels like the blankets I steal from my dad that are soft and cozy. My homes are my safe place.
