The Meaning of Home

Home is a beautiful place where I can lay my head at night in my snug pillow and get cozy and warm in my heated blanket. Home is a place where emotion can be shown and memories can be made. I love coming down stairs in the evening to the yummy smell of spaghetti. I love sitting down at the table every night. It feels like a special moment for our family to laugh and bond. I like coming upstairs and hearing the sound of my sister strumming on her guitar. The faint sounds of a familiar podcast that my mom listens to and hearing my dad cheer the Oilers on. I love going outside in the summer and jumping on my trampoline and doing backflips. I am extremely grateful to a comforting home and a beautiful family.
