Home

To me home means memories, comfort, and celebrations. Some memories that I have at home are playing with my family and sister. Some examples of things that we play are things like hide and seek, tag, soccer, or volleyball in my backyard. When I'm with them, I feel safe and loved. Another memory is baking cookies for Christmas with my mom and sister. I remember having so much fun making them but having even more fun decorating them. We made lots of fun festive shapes like snowmen, mittens, and Santas. Next, when I'm snuggling with my sister, I feel protected and like nothing can hurt me. It feels like a big circle of happiness. I feel loved. I feel most comfortable when I'm on my bed reading a book. I feel relaxed and calm. And finally, celebrations when me and my family celebrate things are usually at my house. Some examples of celebrations are birthdays, for my family Lunar New Year, and lots of other stuff like Christmas, and Easter. That’s what home means to me.
