The Meaning of Home

Homes are where you live. Homes are like a big comfy bed that keeps you safe. Homes aren't just houses you just moved into. Homes are where you make memories with family and friends. A house is just a building with nothing really in it but a home has your furniture and your stuff. You have feelings in your home like love, laughter, and joy. My home is special because it is nice like a big blanket surrounding me. In my home I feel safe. In my home I've lots of memories like in the winter going sledding, in the summer going swimming, in the fall jumping in leaf piles, and in the spring looking for Easter eggs. I hope in your home you have lots of memories and fun. Something that makes my house feel special is my family and my pets. They make me happier. My favourite room in my home is probably my bedroom because I have a dresser with lots of Lego. I have shelves in my room that have my camera and also Cool Funko Pops which I can play with. I also have my dog and she sleeps in my room. In my bedroom I can watch TV on my tablet and I can talk to friends on my phone. I feel safe in my bedroom and it makes me feel better to have a place to go when I'm down. People need a roof over their head and food on the table. People need homes if they are homeless because they don't have a nice place to sleep. My home keeps me warm so I feel like everybody deserves that. People should be able to have a house and make it into a home that is somewhere nice so they can live happily.
