Home Isn't Just A Building
A home and a house are not the same thing. A home can come in all different shapes and sizes, while a house is just a building with no love or warmth. A house is just a few walls and a ceiling. But a home is a place with laughter and love even when you feel sad.
A home is a place that gives me joy. Without a home I would have no place that I always feel safe in. A house is just a place you live in, but a home is a sanctuary where you can always be and feel yourself. A home is more than a house.
When I come home I hear my baby sister laughing so hard. I smell delicious food cooking in the oven. I feel safe even when I'm scared or sad. A home doesn't need walls or a ceiling to be a home. It just needs people who care about you in it.
