The Meaning of Home
To me, a home means a place where I can feel safe and comfortable, a
place where I can talk to someone about something that concerns me.
A home is not about the house; it’s the people who live in it with you.
Home is a place where I can feel better when I'm sad. My favorite
place in my home is the dining room, where my family discusses their
day, and my second favorite is the living room, where we watch movies
together. And my third favorite place is the kitchen, where my family
cooks food together. But the best thing that home offers is a warm
place to stay when it's raining or snowing. And I wish everyone in the
world could have a home and not have to stay outside, and every time I
think about someone sleeping outside, I'm sad. But the saddest thing is
the families that don't have a home. I wish they had the same thing
that I have. Everyone should have a home. And if everyone had a home
no one would live in the cold and big on the street. So never say that
you're not happy with your home because a lot of people don’t have a
home like others. So it's really important to be happy with what you
have. Also a home is a place where I can sleep in a comfortable bed.
Also there are places where I can play video games with my friend and
my brother. But my favorite thing is playing mini sticks with my dad and
sometimes my brother.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping families have homes.
