Home to Me Means Happiness, Memories, Comfort, and Love

My home means a lot to me. My home means memories and my family. After I moved to Canada, I didn't know what to feel but the longer I lived in my new house I made great memories. One memory is in the summer I like to see ladybugs and try to catch blue dragonflies in my backyard. Home to me is seeing my mom smile or when I taste my dads food and say thank you every day. Home to me means comfort. When I cry sometimes I go to my room and hug my bear plushie. Home is when I go to the bathroom and smell the soap and think it smells good, or when I look at my school pictures and smile and think about my class. One day it was summer break, there was news of wildfire spreading and I was afraid that my house was gonna burn where I had built my memories, the place where I was safe. Home is where I keep my stuff, where I write in my diary, where I write my thoughts, what I did, where I went, how I felt. Home is where sometimes my dad makes cupcakes that are delicious and tastes like bubblegum. Sometimes I like to tell my mom that I want to be a chef and open my own bakery one day. Somedays at home I like to sew because my mom taught me and now I sew clothes for my dolls. Home is where I study, home is where I play, home is where I'm happy. Home is where I hear my family laugh. One day after school my mom cooked pasta and my brother almost finished it all, and when I tried the pasta I instantly loved it. Home is important to me.
