The Meaning of Home

Home isn't just a place to eat and sleep; home is a place where you belong and is built on memories and trust. To me, home is a place where you feel comfortable, safe, peaceful, and happy. Trust is important in a home because in it are people that should love and care for you. It's important to feel safe and happy because no matter what your house looks like it's the feelings inside that makes a house a home. Home holds memories, memories such as birthdays, holidays, and other achievements that may not seem important to others. Memories made at home are something that can always bring you back to all the good times you've had over the years. Everyone has a home, but no one looks the same because a home isn't just about walls and a roof; it's about all the love inside that can always make you feel happy even when you don't. To me that's what the meaning of home is: a place you can let go of reality and just be yourself with no judgment.
