Meaning of Home

Home, means somewhere, I can be happy. Where I can find peace and quiet or loud and crazy. Home is another word for love. I come from a family of seven people. I have two brothers and two sisters. I am the youngest member. I show love in many different ways. I can cuddle with my favourite blanket. Or bug my sisters and make them scream. I help my dad in the shop, working on dirt bikes, four wheelers, tractors and all kinds of toys. I also help clean up in the shop and the yard. Home is the place where I can have fellowship with my family. Invite cousins, friends and neighbours to play. My favourite thing to do at home is drive my four-wheeler in the snow and go in after for my mom’s hot chocolate. I feel love when my mom has fresh baked buns and I can put so much Nutella that it squishes out the sides and have it, with cold milk. Home is a place where I can be safe and happy and sit on the couch with my brothers and sisters, watching a good show. I love playing board games with my family. I spend a lot of time at school. So, I think of school as my second home. I have classmates’ kind of like siblings. A teacher, who teaches me life skills and shows me love with all the fun stuff we do. A principal who keeps me in line. I love going to a school that teaches me about God. I thank God for so many blessings. He gave me a wonderful family, great friends, a warm home, and a pretty awesome school. This is what home means to me.
