Home Sweet Home
Home sweet home. Home means a lot to me. I have friends and family, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and so much more. My mother cooks the most delicious food, snacks and more. I have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, a toothbrush to brush my teeth and a washroom to do that in and a bathtub to bathe in.
I can be myself. I can spend time with my dad and brother. My mom is always there to listen if I need to talk or if I'm sad, mad, frustrated, or even overwhelmed. The living room is where I open presents, watch movies, games and so much more. To me home is where I grew up with family members.
Sometimes some family members pass away but we can fight over the grief. But the people at home make me feel protected and safe. Disagreements end. At night quiet crickets chirp. At home I don't have to be anyone else except myself. And maybe you can be yourself outside too: you can give things like donate to the people who need it.
Home can be anywhere else too…if your parents are divorced you can see your mom or dad at that home. YOU should be grateful because of what you have, you have food, water, a bed, a blanket, a toothbrush: you basically have ALMOST everything you need, you have a school, a teacher, etc. And that's what home means to ME.
