What Home Means To Me
To me home is everything, either it’s my cousins, my grandparents but especially my own. There are 6 hours of school, I even have after school programs and my body needs rest, so when I step into my house I feel relieved. Imagine it’s a cold windy day in the middle of January and when i finally get home, I would turn the thermostat so it has a decent amount of heat. I would walk downstairs and jump on the couch. Home is the most safe and perfect place because no one can come in, judge me or endanger me but I still get scared walking upstairs and passing by my parents bedroom, but it’s still the most safe and best place in the world. Sometimes I get bored of my house, sometimes I just want to go to my cousins house to play, maybe on a hot summer day I would want to go out to a soccer field to play with my cousins. But the real answer to “what does home mean to me” is in the beginning. Home means everything to me, even if I get bored sometimes, I still really like my home. It is like my happy place. That’s what home means to me.
