What home means to me

To me home is a safe place where I spend time with my family. It is a place where I am happy to be because that is where my family is. Home is a place where I feel calm and happy. Something that reminds me of my home is sleds and toboggans because we have a lot of them. When I think of home I think about my family. At my home, we play board games and video games. What I do at my home is build with my Lego, play with my stuffed animals and read a lot of books. Something I think about when I think about home is doing something nice for my mom, because she does a lot around my house. My favourite part of my home is the basement because that is where my Lego and toys are. I love my home because I can do a lot of things like building, arts and crafts, reading books and more. I also like my home because I feel safe and warm. There are some downsides to my home like doing laundry, cleaning the house and cooking dinner but that is just life. I have been living at my house ever since I was born, which is why I know my house like the back of my hand. I help around the house too. My house is two stories, and it is pretty big. My mom looks after the house and when she is not around I take her place. I am very proud of myself for taking care of my home when my mom is not around. Other people may think home means something else to them, and that is very much okay. But this is what home means to me. Thank you for reading this.
