Home Matters

Home makes you feel safe and cozy while a freezing snow storm rages outside. My home provides an oven so my mom can make delicious dinner and desserts. When I walk in to that smell I get so excited that I am bouncing off the walls. I feel happy when I snuggle with my cats while drinking sweet hot chocolate with marshmallows. With fresh snow on the ground you can find me playing snow football in the yard with my brother and friends makes me feel joyful. My home has a comfy room for me with somewhere to sleep. When I'm in my room smelling fresh air from the opened window. I can hear my brother yelling at me to help him with a video game. My ribbons on the wall remind me of winning track and field and getting a school record. Winning tastes like a nice fresh slice of stuffed crust pizza. When I snuggle up on the warm and inviting couch and watch a movie with my family I feel safe. In the spring I like to throw a ball on the street with my dad or brother. Sometimes the neighbours' kids come over and we play mini basketball in the attic or play some video games.
