What Home Means to Me

Today I will tell you what home means to me. First of all, for me home is anywhere I am with people I love. When I’m at my friends house, they always make me feel at home whether it's at Ella's house or Addy's house they make me feel at home. Also when I am with my mom at a hotel, just her being there makes me feel at home. Secondly, there are certain things I own that make me feel like I have a piece of home with me. When I have my blankie with me it makes me feel at home because when I was born it was given to me. Ever since then I have slept with it every night. Also sometimes my stuffie that looks like my old dog helps me feel at home. Also there are some foods that make me feel at home. Whenever I get my memes homemade lasagna in my lunch for school, it almost feels like I am sitting at the table with them eating. Especially my memes chocolate chip cookies. I enjoy helping my meme make them and testing along the way. Finally, there is my home. When I get home from a long hockey practise, I go right to my comfy bed with my blue sheets that have rainbow hearts on them. Then I prop up my big chunky gorilla, and my long bear to rest on while I watch ICarly. After I rest I change into my nice comfy pajamas. When I finish putting my pajamas on then I play an intense game of match madness with my dad, then go to bed. Thats what feels like home to me, especially because I am at HOME! Even though it might be different for other people this is what home is like for me.
