What I call home...

Home is a warm cozy place where you can spend time with your family & play board games. Home is a place where you can hide when sad or mad. Home is a place when you walk into the smell of mom & dads cooking, it fills the air. It's like a warm hug on your body. Home is a place where you can learn how to bake with mom or dad. Home is a place you can tell your parents how you feel. I have the privilege to be able to play outside with my dad or my big brother. Home is something I call my safe space; it's a place you can calm down. Home is a place where you can have friends over & have slumber parties. Home is a place where you can have fun & sometimes you may get in trouble but that's totally ok, it’s a part of growing up. But a lot of children don’t have loving homes but we want to welcome them to our home so they can feel warm and cozy. Home is not just a house, it's your family. Your family is your home, they keep you warm, they love you forever and always. Everybody deserves a home & a family so they can feel loved & so they can feel warm also.
