What is Home?

What is home? Home is more than a building that you live in, home is a special place where you feel comfortable and supported. It's where you are safe to share your feelings and there is no judgment. Home is a place where you feel comfortable. To me, feeling comfortable is like a warm soft blanket watching tv with my family. With the scent of my home that smells normal to me and the sound of the tv with the volume just right. Home is a place where you should feel supported. Feeling supported is a great feeling so you feel safe to share your feelings no matter what happens. For example if I go home after a tough day I can always count on my mom to be there for me to make my day just a bit better. Feeling supported is important to me so I feel good to share my feelings so people know what I am going through and they might know how to help. Some people don't have a home where they feel supported. What makes my home a real home is my family. My family is what makes my home feel special. They make me feel valued and they’re always kind to me and make me feel loved. My family is also mostly around when I need them. My family makes me happy all of the time. In conclusion, home is a wonderful place where you should feel comfortable, safe, supported and surrounded by the people who love you. That's what makes my home a home.
