What Home Means To Me
Home is not just walls and a roof. It’s a place for love and laughter. Home is a place to have fun, a place for quiet. Home is a place for you to play.
Home is special because when I am home I feel loved and comfortable. At my home, my dad helps me with homework while he is cooking something good for dinner. Me and my sister like to play in the backyard in the deep snow or in the grass.
Home is a place where family is. It's a warm place with smells of food, your clothing or a pet. In my room, it's a special place for me to go when I am sad or feeling blue. In my living room, we watch movies and play board games.
Home is a special place; it's like a shield where no one can find you and you are safe. When you are at home you might feel so many emotions like sad, angry, confused, special, loved, happy, etc. You could be mad at a sibling or someone. Your home is your place. You may have a pet to share it with, like a dog or a cat or you may have a sibling. It does not matter. Your home is your place with your family.
Whether it's yours or you share it, it's a home with love not just a house with walls and structures. It's your home. I am happy everyone supports Habitat For Humanity for those in need so that they can have a home too.
