My Safe Space

If home was a smell it would be my mom’s freshly baked cookies. It brings back memories of me and my gramma making those tasty chocolate chip cookies. We would have so much fun baking together. If home was a taste it would be the nice warm popcorn that makes me feel cozy and warm and makes movie nights special. If home was a feeling it would be the feel of my dog's warm and soft fur makes me feel cozy and like there is nothing to worry about. If home was a sound it would be the wind blowing through the trees and the ‘Yay’s’ and the ‘No’s’ when my family and I play soccer in our back yard. If home was a sight it would be my family playing in the snow. It is so beautiful, I just can watch them all day as this just makes me feel at home. I hope every person can have a home just like mine and every person can feel like me safe in their homes!
