Meaning of Home

Have you ever felt like your family is your home? That's how I feel because home is where I have my best memories. Home is not just a shelter. It's where you and your family live and my best memories are spent with you and your siblings. First, having a caring family is my home. It always makes me feel at home. Even if I am having a bad day, my parents are always there and help me through it. This makes me feel like this house is truly my home. I am always safe there and I am taken care of at home. All of the things that make me feel comfortable are at my house. My couch and my bed, my books and my bookshelf and my clothes are in my home. The books are part of me, and I pick the clothes to show who I am. Also, the electronics that I play with are at my home. I get to do what I want at my home. At home I feel calm because everything I own is here. And everything I want is here for me to use. My family likes to do things together and it starts at home. So, that’s all I have to say. My family, my belongings, and the feeling of calm at home are what makes me feel that my house isn’t a house, it’s my home.
