Home Isn’t Just a Place

Home is not just a place home is where memories are created. Once our house was just an empty house with no furniture not knowing where to start. Years pass and slowly by slowly we adjust the place making rooms look more alive than just blank. Kids slowly grow up making memories while the parents just look and laugh. The pictures on the walls are pictures of you slowly growing up; The first day of junior kindergarten to your graduation day. Your parents get older but every time you come home you are always welcomed by a familiar smell. Sitting down talking about life when you went for school while you eat your childhood favorite meal that your mom made sure to perfect weeks in advance just for you. You enter your old room, full of old memories, your trophies from your favorite sport filling the shelves. My home is so unique to me because it holds all the laughter, the smiles on holidays and the first ever birthdays connecting with the people that were always there for me. Sooner or later you'll know the house you've grown up in is not just a place it is where your mom made your favourite meals, where you worked to the bone to just to finish your homework before 12, where the countless arguments happened, where your very first sleepover was. When you're; younger you'll just think the home you live in is just a warm cozy place to live in but it really isn't ; It's where u spended your best memories as a kid growing up, where you spent every minute together. Home isn't just a place it's where all memories is made so while u can make the most of it before its over.
