The Meaning of Home for Me
Home is a place where my mom makes food for me. Home is a place where I play games with my dad. Home is a place for family time. Home makes me feel safe, I get to go to bed and not worry about anyone attacking me or being cold. However I still feel bad for those people that don’t have homes and have to live on the street. So, home isn’t just a building; it's the heart of my family. It’s where I belong, where I'm understood, and where our family comes along. You know those pictures on the walls? They are like snapshots of the best times we've had. It's like a storybook, but on our walls. Every frame has a special memory – birthdays, vacations, and regular days that turned into something amazing. Think of home like a treasure chest. Inside, there are treasures money cannot buy – love, laughter, and the feeling of being a part of something special. It's where I learn about life, grow up surrounded by caring people, and dream big dreams. Home isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s where I feel safe and loved and always be myself. In the living room every evening, the smell of my mom’s lentil curry fills the house, and it’s like a sign to sit down and spend time together. I look forward to those dinners because I feel most connected to my family.
