What home means to me

A house is not a home. A house is sad, lonely, and dry. A home is a happy place full of warmth, love, and fun, where you should feel safe. I feel loved. My home is like a messy assemblage of inside jokes, safety, warmth, memories and sillies and its all glued together by love. I feel loved. A home is bursting with love and tenderness. A house isn't even bursting. A house may be decorated, but not with love. I feel loved. When I come home, I feel like a knight coming home from a mission. As soon as I step in, it's like a whole new world. I feel loved. You can hear “how was your day?” you can feel love and warmth spilling out from under the door. you see pets and family running towards you. I feel loved. In a house you don't hear anything. Maybe a clock ticking, or a fridge running, but not love. I feel loved! Hopefully everyone gets a house as great as mine, just remember, its not about the structure or look, its about memories and love. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making all these wonderful things, for wonderful people.
