What Home Means to Me
I used to think that a home was just a structure for shelter, but home is the place where the smell of molokhia and chicken. Home is where I don't worry about what people think of me. Home is where I feel safe and loved. With all my family members cheering me up. Home is a comforting place where there is no pain. Home is not a place to be scared or discomforted, but home is where I enjoy time with my family; whether it is playing games or watching movies, Home is a place of happiness and joy. I now realize that home is not just a shelter, but a place you feel like you belong in. Some people take home for granted, so if you think you cannot find home maybe you're already at home.
Thank you habitats for humanity for making homes more affordable in this crisis.
