Meaning of Home

Home isn’t four walls and a roof Even so It shelters you from the loudness of the world From the weight of days that ask too much Always lending a hand Lifting you up When strength feels borrowed Home isn’t an address engraved on a wall It holds memories and adventures Laughter that lingers in the air long after it fades Joy that shows up unexpectedly Like sunshine slipping through a window You forgot was there Filling every corner of the house With warmth and love Home isn’t land that you can measure or claim It’s the joyful moments that you hold Close to your heart Reminding you that you’re always loved Through ups and downs Thin and thick No matter the weather No matter where you are Home isn’t a bed to rest and sleep It’s a sanctuary that lets you be yourself When the world judges you And you need somewhere to Rest Rewind And reset Home is where broken pieces are mended And put you back on your feet Reminding you That you never stand alone Home isn’t a dot on a map It rises with helping hands With love mixed into every brick Beautiful melodies carrying your dreams and hopes From neighbors who believe From friends who believe From family who believe That everyone deserves a place to Feel safe Feel seen And whole Home isn't a house built of bricks and cement It’s made with Memories Laughter Shared adventures Emotions Jokes And everything in between Home is a place where you belong Where everyone belongs Hand in hand Putting aside all differences Home is a place to love.
