My Home is Part of My Heart!

Every day, everyone in our household feels happiness in their hearts: whether it’s from playing games, socializing, or spending time together. Our home is also a place where our distant and extended family comes together to celebrate events, even if they're distant; they're still part of our home. Every day, my parents cook and work for us in our household. When breakfast, lunch, and dinner come around the corner, my siblings and I smell the savory smell of rice. We sit at the dinner table and eat together, thoughtfully chatting and eating. My parents teach me our country’s language, clothing, and appetizing foods. My home is part of my heart, something that I cannot live without. My home has everything a person would need. Every day, my home is filled with affection, all from people I love and know. My family’s culture is part of Burmese culture (Chin). I love my home and my culture; they are beautiful things. My home isn’t just a place I can go to; it’s what makes me feel safe, loved, and really me; it makes me my true self. My home is part of my heart, and there is nothing that could change that.
