What Does Home Mean to Me

Home is not just a building of rocks and stone but a structure I am able to call my own. It is a place that holds years of memories, maybe even more like centuries. Home is a place where I can be myself. I don't need to fit in like books on a bookshelf. Where my smile and laughter is true, all the way through. Home is a place where tears can drop without shame and no one is to blame. Home is peace that I can wear. A comfort like the warmth in the midnight air. Home is the place I recharge when everything gets too much. When school is too hard and such. Home is not walls or a street, it is the souls that make me feel complete. So, I will keep my home near when storms appear because after every war, I know the only place I will ever want to go back to is home. Home is a beautiful place where I can be free, with just my family and me!
