My home is meaningful and a house, is just a noun.

To me, my home isn’t just a house. My home is meaningful and a house, is just a noun. In my kitchen, there’s the magical smell of my dad’s delicious cooking flowing through the air. In the kitchen, we make very big messes and of course, very big memories. In my room, I feel cozy and warm. In my room, I can be whoever I want without being judged. When I feel sad, my cat Millie likes to comfort me by crawling onto me to snuggle. My room is by far my favourite room in the house, because it is my safe haven and a soft place to stay. In my living room, my family and I cuddle up together on the cozy couch and watch enjoyable movies while munching on tasty popcorn. When I have a bad day, my family keeps me warm with their snuggly hugs without hesitation. In my living room, we laugh deeply and smile always. For the holidays, my family has special decorations that make our living room look different from the others. When it’s Christmas time, we have a Christmas tree with decorations from when my sister and I were babies. Special family milestones hang proudly on our tree. To me, traditions make my house a home. My home is meaningful and a house, is just a noun.
