The Greatest Place on Earth

Home is the greatest place on earth,because it is a place where I feel safe and cared.Home means a lot to me. Home is filled with love and happiness. It’s a place I know that I belong and feel loved. Everytime I play boardgames, bake, or even play UNO with my mom, all I feel is happiness surrounding me. Home is warmth, memories, and trust. When I have a bad day at school, home always makes me feel warm. Every picture on the wall reminds me of memories from vacation, family, and my old childhood. In my home, we always trust one another. When my grandpa says that he’ll give me something, he always will. Home is family, feelings, and laughter. Family is what picks up our roof. We eat together as a family, we work together as a family, we face truth and judgement as a family. Home is different then a house, it has feelings that a house doesn’t. It’s not about having the best furniture, the biggest TV, or even a PS5. It’s about the people that’s in it. It’s also a safe place, where you can express all your emotions and laughter. Home is my favourite place to be, and I mean it at the bottom of my heart. I feel my dad’s hair, when he picks me up with his big and warm body. I hear my mom coming home from work, as I run with happiness to hug her. I see my grandpa cooking, that reminds me of the food he used to cook back in China, I smell the delicious traditional food, that my family made on New Years Eve. Home is the best place, no matter what it’s compared to, and it will always stay in my heart forever.
