Home is Hope

Home is where you grow up. When I hear my mom calling me, I run into the kitchen to see my mom preparing my favorite dish. I call my dad and grandparents. We laugh and joke while we eat. And then someone tucks me into bed. And then a new day begins. Home isn't just about the size or how much money they cost. My friends used to mock and tease me for having a small house. It's about who takes care of you. Different houses have different ways of caring. My bedroom is small but big enough for me. I also love the kitchen. It is warm with the smell of cooking. My dad makes the best smoothies. My house, my family, everything means so much to me. When it is holiday time, we have a big dinner together. Home is where I can get cheered on. Home is where I find love and joy. As long as I am home, I am safe. I love my home. Be grateful for your home
