Home Doesn't Need a Roof... But It Helps

Home doesn't need a roof or walls. What makes it home is the loved and appreciated ones inside of it.Whether that’s your friends or family members inside. Home is the amazing experience we get to have and to know that some people don’t have one is so so sad.To know that some people don’t get to have the experience of putting up a christmas tree or lights or a pumpkin on their porch.Or have the memories of like their first steps or first friend over. A home is a place you can cry and laugh and be yourself and run to your room and cry for hours. (I know I’ve done that) It’s a place where you can cover your head with a pillow because your parents are talking way too loud. But home is not just your house it can be a classroom, hockey rink, dance studio, etc. Wherever you feel safe and calm and welcome and happy is your home. The most favourite memory is when I was in my room and my twin brother came in, by the way he is very annoying, but he came in my room and sat on my bed and we were just watching a show but it was so special. That's what makes a home a home the family,friend’s,memories, or just the air, or the feeling of being safe and dry and warm! In conclusion, home is a safe fun space where you can show your real colours and not care about your math assignment next week. Well, you should, but just dance with no one watching or sing in the shower. Home is your space so make it yours. THANK YOU!!!!!!
