The Meaning of Home

Home means giggling and laughing with my family until I feel like I won’t ever stop! Home means being able to express myself in all different ways like doing creative art, making scrumptious foods and doing one of my favourite types of dance… Highland dance (which is a traditional Scottish dance that I really enjoy and love to do!)! Home is a place I can trust and feel safe in, like when I feel sad or hurt knowing that I’m in a familiar place or calm place it makes me feel welcome and not so shy! Home is a place I can hear my family and friends cheering me on and telling me I’ve got this! Home is a place I can smell the salty smell of my Mom making fresh, hot spinach dip! Home is a place I can see smiling faces surrounding me with joy and pride, letting all races be welcomed! Home tastes like all seven different cultures I have and all the mouthwatering foods that come along with them! Finally home feels like a comfortable place I feel like myself in and I have my family to cherish me forever! A home is different and unique for everyone, but for me it means lots of… LOVE!
