One Home for Wolfy

Only one wolf was Homeless that year and that was Wolfy. Wolfy was always so nice to everyone in the West Coast of the forest. He loves the forest . Anyway, Wolfy wanted a Home. He wanted a Home with a little fence and one basketball and a hoop. One nice day Wolfy was walking along the big river and to his wonder, he saw a small beaver making a lovely little Home. He asked the beaver “What does Home mean to you?”, the beaver said. My Home is the river. I make my hut out of the tree branches. He was asking the beaver some questions and after about ten minutes he said his good-bye. Walking back toward the forest Wolfy said “Home?” The next day, Wolfy was walking, he said, “Beaver, Beaver, where are you?” Wolfy looked around the river and he saw a small duck. The duck said, “Hi, my name is Ducky Jr.” Wolfy smiled and said, "Ducky Jr., what does Home mean to you?" Ducky Jr. said “For me, all the rivers of the beautiful West Coast of the forest are my Home.” Wolfy said to Ducky Jr., “What else can Home mean?” Ducky Jr. shrugged and said, “I am not sure, I was only born yesterday.” “Oh!” said Wolfy. “Goodbye!” The next day, Wolfy woke up after all the animals in the kingdom of the forest were asleep. Wolfy was the first wolf to be Homeless. He did not know what Home meant. He was near a small river and ran into the river. The river was calm and now he knew the answer: a Home can be anything. There are lots of different places that animals and people call home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building those homes!
