House and home

A home is more important than a house. A house is a building where people live. It can be small or large. It can be short or tall, made of wood, brick, or stone. A house has walls, a roof, windows, and doors. Some houses have gardens, balconies, and swimming pools. A home is more than a house, it is a place where we feel warm, comfortable, and safe with our family. It is filled with love, warmth, and special memories. A home is where our hearts belong. For example, a hotel is a house, but not a home, because we don’t live there with our families.
