Meaning of Home

Home might not be a house; it could be an apartment, or home can even be a place like a field or a farm. Home can also be a person like a grandma, a dad or a mom. For me, home is road trips to Blind River to fish and other places in Northern Ontario. My home smells like plants because my dad grows a lot of them, that we harvest and eat. Home tastes like potatoes because we eat them a lot, especially in the summer while we have the garden. Home feels very cozy and warm. Some of the things I like to do that also feel home are fishing with my dad. My dad and I love to eat the fish that we catch together. We both love nature, and we respect the land and water so we only take the medium sized fish so that the big fish can breed and produce more fish for the future. We also like going on walks at White Fish Island and if we find trash on the ground, we always throw it out. These are just a few things that feel like home to me!
